One of the most known resorts of Brazil, Armação dos Búzios or just Buzios, is a peninsula surrounded by 8km of islands and beaches of all styles.
What already was a small fishing town, is currently a cozy place, where most shops are sophisticated and rustic. Submitted to the world by the muse Brigitte Bardot, that after passing through the city in the 60's, drew attention of artists and tourists all around the world.

Beaches
As Buzios is a peninsula, it offers an incredible variety of beaches with crystal clear waters. Most of the time these beaches are practically deserted; they only become more crowded in January and February. Food

The high season for music is actually during the summer vacation in January and February, when Buzios bursts of visitors and action. During July, however, it is a nice change to visit this "Festival". It is less for the bands who are playing but for the relaxing ambience for your weekend. Film Festival
Brigitte Bardot is the big name in Buzios’ history. After all, she made it famous back in the sixties, turning the sleepy fishermen’s town into a sparkling meeting point of Brazil’s Jeunesse Dorée. The Film Festival is cosy and you can call it already traditional.
